October Edition

Welcome to the October edition of the Go English student magazine, the magazine for students learning English as a foreign language.  I hope you enjoy it.

Starting Out, is especially for Beginners and Pre-Intermediate level students.  There are sections for listening, speaking, writing, reading, grammar and vocabulary.  Each section has a recommended activity for this month and links to more activities.

In The News has two news stories that you can read and listen to.  This section also has today's news headlines in English, a featured news story that changes every day, and links to news websites.

In Cinema you can read reviews and watch trailers of A Mighty Heart and The Hoax.

There are seven more sections to help you practise your English. Each section has a recommended activity for this month. 

Listen Up has links to podcasts and listening sites for English students. 

Speak Out has a selection of Skypecasts, where people learning English can practise together, and links to some language exchange sites.

Speak Well is a section with links to help improve your pronunciation.

On Video has websites with videos and activities.

Vocab Builder has websites with activities to practise and increase your vocabulary, and new words and idioms every day.

Grammar Help has links to sites with grammar explanations and activities, and a full online English grammar.
