Welcome to Starting Out, the section for Beginners

'Starting out' means 'beginning', and this section is for Beginner and Pre-Intermediate level students.

This month you can listen to a song by the Rolling Stones in listening. 

In the speaking section you can practise irregular verbs.

The writing section practises days of the week.

In  reading you can read a story about a family.

The grammar section has a quiz about writing questions and the vocabulary section practises days and dates.

Each section has links to activities especially chosen for students who are new to learning English.
